Our Team

Wally Khalil, Elec. Eng.: Wally has been in the Energy sector for over 30 years. Prior to joining Ouii Energy, Wally was responsible for sales and operations of the Canadian division of an International Energy Consulting firm. Wally’s specialty is Energy cost reduction through utility rate analysis and energy conservation. He is also a Qualified Applicant Representative (AR) for Toronto Hydro. Besides Energy, Wally’s other passion is sports cars, especially Porsches.

Murtaza Albiz: Murtaza’s unmatched expertise on the technology front is only rivaled by his deep understanding of the operations side in the natural gas business. Murtaza has been responsible for managing the operations at Ouii Energy since inception and was also a significant contributor to success at RBC Natural Gas Services and at Athena Energy when he started in the industry, coming out of school.

Murray Young: After studying in Economics, Murray started at TransCanada over 35 years ago and has since touched multiple facets of the energy industry, including utility contracts, gas purchases and sales, systems balancing, … already a legend in the business, his skills remain unmatched!

Stephane Brodeur, CFA, ERP: Stéphane brings an extensive experience on the trading side, having traded both electricity and natural gas contracts, but mostly on the risk management side,  as he is a CFA Charterholder and also elected to obtain his ERP (Energy Risk Professional) designation as a commitment to serving the energy industry with the highest standards.

Gerry Villanueva: Over his 30-years plus career, Gerry has held some of the most senior positions at multiple energy firms and financial institutions, but his background in regulatory affairs and his full visibility of the energy complex gives our customers great confidence in Ouii’s ability to handle all aspects of their energy budget.
